Taylor Swift’s Fans Love Her: See How T-Swizzle Loves Her ‘Swifties’ Right Back [Video]

Taylor Swift’s new Gift of Giving video will make you appreciate the kind things the 25-year-old pop singer does for her fans. It may even make you tear up — especially when you see the joy T-Swift brought to some of her fans — often called “Swifties” — during the holiday season. (See video below)

On Wednesday night, Taylor was the headliner on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, performing in front of more than 1 million people in Times Square. MTV reports that before the Shake It Off headed to NYC to do her last performance of 2014, she posted her “Gift of Giving” video on YouTube.

The six-minute video below shows Swift wrapping, sending, and even dropping gifts off to fans across the country. It’s hard not to love it and you may even watch it twice.

Taylor Swift had an amazing 2014 with the release of her album 1989, with Billboard reporting that her album beat Walt Disney Records’ Frozen soundtrack as the top selling album of 2014.

Throw in a spectacular New Year’s Eve performance and a video that shows her giving back to her fans, and you’ll realize why millions of “Swifties” adore her.

The “Gift of Giving” video has almost 3 million views less than 24-hours after she posted it to her YouTube account. The video’s caption explains how she went gave her fans so many gifts, but you must watch it to enjoy what went into Taylor’s season of giving.

“Shortly after the massively success release of 1989, fans on social media began to experience another phenomenon. After something that became known as #TayLurking, whereupon every detail of a fan’s likes, job, whereabouts was studied intently… A single Santa emoji would appear on their socials. From one Taylor Swift….these are their stories.”

In the video above, Taylor is shown wrapping the gifts herself and preparing them for shipment. Some gifts were hand delivered and the reactions from her fans is heartwarming.

“They’re supposed to be home because they think there’s going to be a package dropped off by UPS, but UPS is me.”

Even people who aren’t fans of T-Swizzle will smile when they watch her video — it’s a welcome change after so many tragic stories dominated the headlines in 2014.

And let’s admit it, even if you rarely, if ever, listen to Taylor Swift, it was hard not to sing along and dance to “Shake It Off” when she belted it out on New Year’s Eve.
