Earthquake rattles NJ. Yes, New Jersey

A small earthquake rattled central New Jersey late Monday night, giving locals a bit of an unexpected fright.
The earthquake, with an epicenter of Victory Gardens, was felt as far away as Rockaway, Dover and Morris Planes, a long list of places you’ve probably never heard of.
But before you dismiss the quake in the it’s not really important category, Victory Gardens is only 35 miles from the center of New York. Unfortunately for us, there was no reports of a large lizard rising out of the water.
Locals reported that the earthquake sounded like a bomb going off, never a good sign.

These towns are NOT in Central NJ, rather, North Jersey. Please get your facts straight

“a long list of places you’ve probably never heard of”?? First off, it is Morris “Plains”. Secondly I live there and third -these towns are in Northern Jerseyt and lastly what the Hell is “The Inquisitr” anyway??? Are you some 12 year-old reporting from their parent's basement?

Great picture of NJ. It looks a lot like that. Well, not out by Morris Plains. There you have a lot of rich people and McMansions.
287, not shown in that picture, roughly follows the Ramapo Fault line, which is thought to be responsible for the earthquake.

Exactly, a poorly written piece with more than a hint of superiority and ignorance. Morristown and the towns surrounding it are hardly unheard of places, they are roughly 25 miles west of NYC. And we have many (unwanted) New Yawkers visting and buying houses. I suppose an earthquake is only important if New Yawkas are affected. typical ahole NY attitude.
And that pic is hardly what NJ looks like Virginia you ignorant twat. Gee a roadway adjacent to the NJ Turnpike, yeah that's all NJ is. Typical sterotype which to be expected, esp from anyone from NY. And everyone in Morris Plains is rich and has a mansion…riiiight. I'm continually amazed at how dumb people are.
