Vicki Gunvalson’s House Isn’t Happening? Dream Home Plans Scrapped By ‘RHOC’ Star

Vicki Gunvalson’s house plans have changed. Although the Real Housewives of Orange County star was planning to build her dream home, she reportedly ran into financial troubles which have forced her to scrap the idea.

Earlier this month, the Inquisitr revealed Joe and Melissa Gorga had moved back into their former home after abandoning plans for their previously announced dream home, and now, Gunvalson appears to have done the same.

“Joe and Melissa Gorga aren’t the only Bravolebrities ditching plans for their overly ambitious dream home,” Radar Online reported on December 29. “The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has taken her own house off the market after the luxurious property that she was eyeing ‘fell through’ over money concerns.”

“The repairs on the house that Vicki was looking at were going to cost too much to do,” an insider told Radar. “She decided to stay put for now unless she finds something that she absolutely falls in love with.”

Vicki Gunvalson’s house was already quite large, and since her daughter, Briana Culberson and her family, recently moved out, it didn’t make sense for her to go larger. However, in July of this year, Gunvalson gushed about her planned move to a “gorgeous” Dana Point property.

“I’m just ready for a change,” she said at the time. “My whole theory is when life changes, you have to change everything.”

A realtor source claimed Vicki Gunvalson’s house may not have been priced right when she was trying to sell.

Gunvalson has “tried to sell the home for years, so most likely it’s overpriced and she won’t budge on what she wants for it,” the realtor explained.

“Ocean County, Calif., home prices are up about 30% this year,” the source explains. “This could also be her testing the market to see if she could make some additional money.”

Weeks ago, Gunvalson revealed she was nearly demoted on The Real Houewives of Orange County ahead of her 10th season with the show.

“[Bravo] basically put the gauntlet down and said, ‘If you don’t film with Brooks, then we are reducing your role,'” Gunvalson claimed during a Us Weekly interview. “And I was like, ‘Oh no! You did not just say that!'”

As reported by the Inquisitr, following Gunvalson’s allegations, Cohen explained why he gave her no choice when it came to RHOC season 10.

“That’s true! We did!” Cohen admitted on an episode of Ask Andy. “You know why? She’s on a reality show about her life! And he was in her life! So we said, ‘You have to show what’s happening in your life! If you’re dating this guy, you can’t keep it hidden from everybody.'”
