True Blood hunk Joe Manganiello and Modern Family‘s voluptuous Sofia Vergara are set to tie the knot, according to numerous media outlets reporting the couple are officially engaged. ‘Tis the season for big diamond rings under the Christmas tree, and the gorgeous celebrity couple are among the first to go public with a holiday engagement. ET confirms Joe popped the question on Christmas day, and Sofia’s Instagram account is full of photos of the happy couple in Hawaii during the holiday weekend.
The pair only officially started dating in July after Manganiello and Vergara each broke off long term relationships. Manganiello had previously dated model Bridget Peters, but the pair split last January.
Sofia had previously been engaged to Nick Loeb, and the couple split just two months before Manganiello and Vergara became a hot couple. Either Loeb is still in the holiday spirit or he’s one of the classiest guys on the planet judging from his comments to Us Weekly, wishing the couple the best of luck and heaping praise on his lovely ex.

Manganiello opted for a romantic proposal in their beautiful suite at the exclusive St. Regis Princeville Resort in Kauai, instead of going beachside, where onlookers might observe the private moment.
While the couple were conspicuously absent around the resort on Christmas day, they emerged to lounge by the pool the rest of the weekend with Sofia sporting a glacier-sized diamond on her left wedding ring finger.
