Meghan Trainor Has A Birthday Wish To Date a Pop Star

Meghan Trainor, the star known for the hit “All About That Bass,” recently celebrated turning 21 with a big birthday bash in Miami.

According to Page Six, the bash was big enough to attract stars like Pete Wentz and Charlie Walk of Republic Records. And who exactly was sweet enough to throw such an amazing party? None other than her pal, Nick Jonas.

The two had just been performing at 93.3 FLZ’s Jingle Ball. Jonas even surprised Trainor onstage with a cake while having fans sing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday girl herself. The star tweeted how the kind act almost brought her to tears. But the fun didn’t stop there, continuing on to the Wynnwood Walls.

While Jonas was very sweet to throw such a fun party, alas, he is already taken. But that’s okay, Trainor is looking for any pop star!

The star got real with The Hamilton Spectator about her dating life or lack thereof. What exactly did Trainor have to say?

“Guys are scared of me, it’s ridiculous,” Trainor stated.

She then went on to say, “I guess it’s because I’m a pop star now, and they are intimidated.”

She admitted how hard it has been to date, especially when she leaves for six months at a time to go on tour. Trainor added that she was “so down to date another pop star.” Trainor even went on to say that she hopes to be as “adorable as Ariana Grande and Big Sean.”

Well, sorry Meghan, although Jonas was sweet enough to throw you a big birthday party with the help of New York-based artist, Peter Tunney, he is taken already. The “Jealous” singer has been dating model and former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, for over a year now. It doesn’t appear that Trainor is too broken up about it, though, tweeting her love for Jonas’ other half.

So who could Trainor’s perfect match be? While she referred to Shawn Mendes as being the “sweetest guy I’ve ever met,” Mendes is only 16-years-old.

Of course, the recently single “Talk Dirty To Me” singer, Jason Derulo, could be a viable option. Derulo tweeted Trainor on her birthday referring to her as one of the most “genuine” people he knew and asking everyone to show her “some love.”

Well, for the time being, with her star rising faster than ever with two hits and an album release coming up in January, it appears that Meghan Trainor will have to keep looking for her birthday wish to be fulfilled.
