‘Teen Mom’ Pregnancy: Maci Reveals There Are No Plans For Marriage

News of another Teen Mom pregnancy hit the web Monday morning as it was revealed that Maci Bookout is indeed pregnant with her second child.

The rumors began circulating over the weekend when it was revealed that people around Chattanooga (Maci’s hometown) had seen the reality show star at an OB clinic. It was also revealed that she was expecting a baby girl, although these were nothing more than rumors at the time. However, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, Maci confirmed that she and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, are expecting a baby girl and that she is currently 16-weeks pregnant with what she is calling her “miracle” baby.

This Teen Mom pregnancy comes as a bit of a shock, especially since there was not any indication that the reality show star was expecting again. She initially shared her first pregnancy on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant where fans watched her raise baby Bentley. Of course, the question is how is Maci feeling this time now that she is older and in a stable relationship? The Teen Mom spoke to In Touch (via Mstarz) about her pregnancy.

“Last time there was a lot of worry and concern… It was just me and Bentley facing the world together and I had to figure things out as I went. This time I’m able to be excited because I’m older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have.”

Although the Teen Mom wasn’t single when she gave birth to Bentley, Maci did have to face a lot of obstacles alone. Ryan Edwards was there, but the two had a tumultuous relationship and despite trying their hardest to make things work, they were unable to get along and ultimately called it quits.

It makes sense that she would cite stability this time around, too. The reality show star and Taylor have been dating for quite some time and, despite the fact that there was distance in between them at one point, they have bridged that gap by having Taylor move to Tennessee. Even though the two have stability, what they do not have is a ring – yet. Maci Bookout revealed that she and Taylor do not have any plans to get married just yet.

“Obviously I wish we could be married first, but everything will come together afterwards.”

Maci Bookout will not be the only Teen Mom to not be married before giving birth, though. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are expecting their second child, but have not yet confirmed a wedding date. Also, Kailyn Lowry married in a small ceremony before giving birth to her son, Lincoln, but married in a huge ceremony when she was about six months pregnant with her second son.

Maci has been plagued with engagement rumors ever since she started dating Taylor, though. Also, some fans question the timing of the Teen Mom pregnancy. Since the show is coming back on the air early next year, some wonder if perhaps she got pregnant solely for the show. However, given the fact that she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and believed she would not be able to have any more kids, it seems unlikely that she would be able to plan a pregnancy to coincide with the new season of Teen Mom.

Some fans are holding out hope that Maci will announce her engagement soon, perhaps around New Year’s Eve. Even though she denies that a wedding will not be happening before the baby, things could change! The reality show star seems very happy in her relationship and sounds elated to be expecting another baby.

After the baby news broke, Maci contemplated if perhaps she had broken the internet with the news. However, she quickly deleted the tweet.
