Hamas Chief Thanks Turkey As A ‘Source Of Power’ For Support Of Terrorism

Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal gave unprecedented thanks to fellow Muslim State Turkey, lauding it as a “source of power” for all Muslims for supporting the “Palestinian cause.”

During his visit to the Anatolian city of Konya in Turkey, the terror network boss addressed the crowd at the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) annual congress, saying, “A democratic, stable and developed Turkey is a source of power for all Muslims.”

Adding phrases regarding a “strong Turkey means a strong Jerusalem, a strong Palestine,” he expressed his desire to “liberate Palestine and Jerusalem.” In other words, to destroy Israel and replace it with “Palestine.”

The Daily Mail reported that his speech was interrupted, albeit in a good way for him, as some people in the crowd waved Turkish flags and shouted, “Allahu Akbar (God is greatest)” and “Down with Israel!”

In his speech, current Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Turkey’s red flag featuring a crescent with a star was a “symbol of the innocent in the world.”

He claimed, “God is witness… we will make this red flag a symbol of the innocent. This red flag will fly side by side with the flags of Palestine, free Syria and all other innocents’ flags anywhere in the world.”

The Islamists of Hamas have been good friends with Turkey’s leader, Erdogan, for some years now. More recently, Turkey has become one of the most active Hamas branches in the world.

Among the Hamas terrorist masterminds is Salah al-Arouri, who claimed responsibility for ordering the kidnap and murder of three Israeli teenagers in June of this year.

Nevertheless, Israel’s numerous appeals to NATO to lambast Turkey for its open support of ISIS-style ideology have so far fallen on deaf ears, as the country moves ever closer to a more militant and extremist Muslim ideology.
