Kate Middleton Voted Most Stylish Woman Of 2014

Kate Middleton has been voted the most stylish woman of 2014.

According to the Scotsman, the poll was commissioned by Feel Unique, who asked 2,000 British citizens which celebrity’s fashion they’d been impressed by the most over the past 12 months.

The Duchess of Cambridge came out on top, and she beat quite the esteemed list of fashionistas to the coveted spot. Forty-year-old former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham finished in second place, which is no mean feat for Kate Middleton when you consider that Beckham is actually employed as a fashion designer. Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, a judge on the British version of The X-Factor, rounded off the top three.

Emma Watson, 24, was voted fourth, which might be a tad surprising to some people, as she was recently awarded the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards.

Discussing Kate Middleton’s victory, a spokeswoman for the beauty website waxed lyrical about the Duchess’ impeccable fashion choices.

“The nation fell in love with Kate Middleton as soon as her engagement to Prince William was announced. And she never fails to impress at any of her public appearances so it’s not at all surprising that she has been voted the most stylish woman of 2014.”

Four Americans managed to crack the top 10. Actress and director Angelina Jolie finished in sixth, 25-year-old pop sensation Taylor Swift was voted into seventh place, while the final two positions were taken by 36-year-old Nicole Scherzinger and 45-year-old Jennifer Aniston.

It’s common knowledge that Kate Middleton is adored the world over for her warm personality and effortless charisma, while her fashion choices are regularly lauded too.

This hasn’t been blighted by her burgeoning belly, which was the natural result of her second pregnancy. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s second child is due in April 2015.

According to the Mirror, she was seen leaving the 11 a.m. Christmas Day service that was held on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate wearing a long brown Moloh coat.

However, she didn’t spend too much time speaking to the gathered crowd about her choice of clothing, instead explaining why her son, 17-month-old Prince George, wasn’t in attendance.

“I’m sorry we didn’t bring George but you would have heard him in the church,” she told one attendee.

Middleton, who was at the service with various other members of the Royal family — including her husband, Prince William, as well as the Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Harry — admitted that Prince George was at their home in Anmer Hall.
