An adorable video of a dog riding a Roomba has taken the internet by storm
The video seen above was posted on YouTube on Monday, and has since gone viral, earning almost 700,000 views as of this post.
As of this post, not much is known about the specifics of what’s happening in the video. Based on the description, we know that the dog riding the Roomba is named Five (because that’s a great name for a dog), and he’s a Boston Terrier. We also know that the song playing in the background is “Dónde Está Santa Claus” (“Where Is Santa Claus”) by Augie Rios. And that’s all we know — not where Five lives, who his family is, how old he is, or anything.
The video was posted by The Big Shift, which has a YouTube channel, an Instagram account, and a Twitter feed.
Can you guess what kind of video we’re making for this week’s #YouTube experiment? http://t.co/4gdM4inE7r

On their website, the guys behind the Roomba dog video give us a little bit more information — at least, information about what they’re up to.
“We’re going to be posting content on Shift to find out what people like and what people don’t like.”
Which sounds rather like, “We’re going to throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks,” but they claim it’s all part of some grand experiment to gauge what makes YouTube videos popular.
All that stuff aside, however, you really can’t go wrong with something as simple as a dog, in full Christmas regalia, scooting around a room on a Roomba.
