Elgort has been dating his high school girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, until they broke up a few months ago.

According to E! News, the Fault in Our Stars actor is a true supporter of the LGBT community.

Us Weekly stated that the couple broke up because of the actor’s huge list of commitments due to his rising career.

A source close to actor said, “They tried to navigate his commitments, but between filming and press for the movies [it got difficult]. It was a young love.”

The couple first stepped out back in June 2014 in Paris at the Valentino show for Menswear Fashion Week.

He appeared in the remake of Stephen King’s Carrie and in Divergent. But his most popular role by far was of Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars.
