‘Once Upon A Time’ Spoilers: Is Outlaw Queen Over For Good?

The Once Upon a Time midseason finale probably left a few Outlaw Queen fans teary-eyed and rooting even harder for Regina to get her happy ending. But will that happy ending include Robin Hood?

In last week’s “Heroes and Villains,” Robin Hood had to leave Storybrooke with Maid Marian in order to save his poor wife’s life. His heart belonged to the former Evil Queen when he left, but now he’s going to have plenty of time to reconnect with his wife without Regina’s luscious red lips around to distract him. However, Outlaw Queen fans should not despair — E! News recently shared some spoilers about Once Upon a Time that will give them a ray of hope. According to Kristin Dos Santos, Robin Hood and Regina might still fulfill their destiny of being together.

“Robin is still very much a part of the show and trust me, you don’t want to give up on hope for these two just yet!”

Hopefully, Robin Hood and Maid Marian don’t run into Rumplestiltskin while they’re out there trying to survive in a strange new world. Obviously, Rumple will want to get Belle back, and he could use Robin Hood’s life as a bargaining chip — if he can find a way to get a message to Regina, he might attempt to trade Robin for Belle.

TV Line recently revealed that Rumple and Regina will cross paths again on Once Upon a Time. According to showrunner Edward Kitsis, Regina might live to regret telling Rumple about her storybook author theory.

“It’s setting them on a collision course. As we saw in that [car] scene last night, Regina laid out to him, ‘Villains don’t get a happy ending, so I’m going to find this author,’ and he said, ‘That’s bulls–t. Watch me take one.’ Well, that blew up in his face, and now he is a man without magic in a land where he is very much not in control, so he’s beginning to see what she said. He has reached a point in his life where he is now asking for help — he can’t do it alone — and he thinks that Regina is on to something.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Regina and fellow Operation Mongoose operatives Emma and Henry will soon find a few clues about the mysterious author of the storybook. Actress Lana Parrilla revealed that these clues will include more pages that have been torn out of the book and replaced.

“They’re on that journey as well, finding the missing pages and finding the person involved in taking these pages out and replacing them. So that will be revealed as well in the second part of the season.”

Kitsis and co-creator Adam Horowitz shared a few more juicy spoilers for the second half of Once Upon a Time, and one of them involves the mysterious mansion where Henry discovered all those blank storybooks. Kitsis denied speculation that the mansion belongs to Yen Sid, the bearded sorcerer from Fantasia, and he said that fans won’t have to wait long to find out if the owner of the mansion and the Author are one and the same.

Other major Once Upon a Time spoilers concern the arrival of the Queens of Darkness. Because Ursula is coming to Storybrooke, JoAnna Garcia Swisher is returning to play Ariel. Kitsis and Horowitz also confirmed that Cruella de Vil will have a magical power “that deals with animals,” and the Queens of Darkness will all have “a very interesting connection” to Snow White and Prince Charming.

You can check out the promo for the next episode of Once Upon a Time below. The “Darkness on the Edge of Town” teaser treats fans to glimpses of Cruella de Vil’s incredible car, Regina holding the Dark One’s dagger, and Maleficent making a very dark threat.

Once Upon a Time returns March 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
