Bill Cosby’s Daughter Evin Releases Statement After Mother Camille Cosby’s Words

On the heels of Camille Cosby’s statement about her husband’s innocence, their daughter Evin has come forward in the wake of the growing sexual allegations against Cosby. In a statement, Cosby’s daughter’s message is similar to her mother’s, in that it states that Bill Cosby is still the man you knew him to be before all of these allegations came forward.

In an effort to preserve his image, Evin Cosby, 38, issued a statement to Access Hollywood.

“He is the FATHER you thought you knew. The Cosby Show was my today’s tv reality show. Thank you. That’s all I would like to say :)”

Additionally she wrote on her public Facebook page about the allegations of rape.

“Rape is a serious allegation and it is suppose to be taken VERY seriously but so is Falsely accusing someone. When someone rapes a person they go to prison. THAT should also happen to the person that has wrongfully accused an innocent victim. They are not ONLY destroying innocent people’s life they are ALSO making it hard for the MEN and Women to find justice when they have been raped.”

Camille, Evin, and Bill’s last public appearance as a family was back in August of 2008 for a PB & Caviar store launch.

As the Inquisitr reported, Bill’s wife Camille Cosby has stood silently by her husband. Mrs. Cosby has finally released a statement, which her daughter Evin supported with a “Love my mom” in addition to releasing her own statement.

“The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you though you knew.”

She continued, “A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass.”

In the time that it has taken for Evin’s statement to circulate other media outlets, TV host Kathie Lee Gifford has come forward to say that while Cosby didn’t rape her, he did try to kiss her once.

“I will admit, towards the very last times I saw him, he did try to kiss me. I said, ‘Bill, no, we’re friends.’ He said, ‘Ok, goodnight,’ and I said, ‘Goodnight.’ And I went to my room, and he went into his room.”

In addition to this claim a woman named Chloe Goins, 24, told the Daily Mail that Cosby drugged her at a Hugh Hefner party back in 2008.
