Carrie Underwood Baby Bump: Singer Flaunts Pregnancy In Style At Latest Awards Show
Carrie Underwood’s baby bump was, for many of her fans, the highlight of Monday’s 2014 American Country Countdown Awards. Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first baby in just a few more months and Carrie is showing off that bump in style.
As Us Weekly notes, Carrie Underwood’s baby bump was highlighted by the American Idol winner’s white and gold form-fitting gown on Monday’s red carpet. Glamour notes that Underwood’s floor-length, fitted gown is by Ashdon. It featured cutout panels, gold beading and one sleeve. Underwood carried a gold Emm Kuo clutch with it, notes Just Jared.
There were mixed reviews, it seems, on the gown choice itself. However, everybody seemingly loved Carrie Underwood’s baby bump and confidence on the red carpet for the event featuring some of the biggest names in country music.
Later in the show Carrie changed into a Leanne Marshall bright blue gown and that one was definitely a hit. Underwood’s baby bump was much more camoflagued in this one, but the dress was a vibrant look that seemingly suited the country singing star well.
During the ACCA show Carrie performed a medley of her hits, including “Before He Cheats,” “American Girl,” “Cowboy Casanova,” “Blown Away” and “Something in the Water.” Fans loved her performance during the show and of course folks loved getting the chance to see her maternity style as her baby bump grows.
The ACCA show featured a number of other great performances as well. Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Sara Evans were all involved in making the night a fun one for country music fans. The Nashville, Tennessee show was packed with big country stars and talented performances and fans embraced every minute of it.
Underwood and Fisher have revealed that they are expecting a boy in the spring of 2015. Carrie and Mike got married in July 2010 after getting engaged in December 2009, MTV notes. They first met at one of Underwood’s concerts in October 2008 and they’ve been there for one another ever since.
The couple announced their pregnancy at the end of August via a cute and telling Instagram post. The baby’s gender was revealed at the Country Music Awards show in November with some help from Brad Paisley. Fans will still have a few months yet to enjoy Carrie Underwood’s baby bump and maternity style and they can’t wait for the baby boy’s arrival.
