Brooke Beaton Restraining Order Against Adam Lind Dropped
Brooke Beaton was recently granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind. The Teen Mom 2 dad was accused of having a violent temper and Brooke stated that she was fearful of him. As a result, the restraining order was granted – but on December 15, the restraining order was dropped.
It turns out, though, that Brooke requested the order be dropped. Radar Online reports that Adam has left Brooke alone, as per the restraining order, and she no longer feels that he is a threat to her.
“She dropped it because he left her alone. He respected her wishes and as long as he continues to do that, they won’t have a problem,” a source told the site.
Adam Lind was in court last week to answer to the domestic stalking charges against Brooke Beaton. While it was reported that he was confident the charges would be dropped, it turns out they were not and he will have to go back to court early next year. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lind entered a plea of “not guilty” regarding the charges. According to the report, he will be offered a plea deal at the next hearing but if he refuses, the case could go in front of a jury.
While the fact that the restraining order being dropped by Brooke Beaton signals some good news for Lind, he still has a lot left to face. Not only is he dealing with these legal charges, but the mothers of his children reportedly don’t feel safe with him around their children. Taylor Halbur and Chelsea Houska have reportedly teamed up and may be working together to ensure their children are safe from Adam. While there have not been any reports about how Taylor feels specifically, Radar also talked about how Chelsea may take Adam to court for custody.
“Sadly, Chelsea might have to ask for visits at a visitation center to ensure Aubree is safe at all times. She feels bad that her daughter has a dad like Adam.”
Luckily, Chelsea Houska has something positive in her life. Her new boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, and her daughter seem to get along great. Wetpaint reports that the three recently had a meal together, and a picture of Aubree with Cole shows that the little girl is happy.
Filming for Teen Mom 2 is underway, but it is unclear how much of Adam Lind’s legal troubles will be on the show or if Brooke Beaton will make an appearance as she and Adam did date.
