‘Teen Mom 2’: Filming For Season 6 Underway
The Teen Mom 2 cast is complete, and set to come back for a sixth season of the show. Kailyn, Jenelle, and Chelsea all signed on for another season of the MTV show early on, but it was mother-of-three, Leah, who was holding out. It turns out with all the drama going on in her life, she didn’t want to appear on reality television, which fans understood. Eventually, though, she decided to join the rest of the cast in sharing her story with the world. Is the new season already filming, though?
Radar Online reports that Leah has already started filming for the new season of Teen Mom 2, even though she just recently signed her contract. She has had some pretty substantial things going on in her life recently and it is unclear what (if any) of those things MTV was able to capture for the new season. She was recently in court to see if custody of her twins would change. Corey Simms filed for full custody of the girls, but he was only awarded an extra day of visitation with the girls.
“Leah signed on because she desperately needs the money. But she’s under so much pressure and doesn’t want to look bad on camera.”
The money is why Leah signed on for another season of Teen Mom 2, according to Radar’s source. While Leah hasn’t addressed why she changed her mind to do another season, it does make sense that she is under pressure. With so much going on in her life, and cameras constantly surrounding her, there is no doubt that filming will be difficult.
However, it isn’t just Leah who has allegedly started filming for the show. Kail Lowry and Javi Maroquin may also have cameras capturing their lives already. A recent Instagram photo shows the couple at the gym working out, and in the right hand corner, a lady can be seen holding a camera, possibly recording the workout for the show.
Chelsea Houska and Jenelle Evans have not mentioned anything about MTV filming them quite yet. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chelsea recently went on a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, but were the cameras there? There isn’t any indication that they were, but they may very well already be up in South Dakota filming the drama that Adam Lind is going through.
Teen Mom 2 is set to air sometime next year.
