Sydney hostage videos have reportedly been posted to social media websites. Australian law enforcement officials are currently working to validate the videos allegedly created by hostages inside the Lindt Café on Martin Place.
An ISIS lone wolf attacker is reportedly in control of at least 15 hostages inside the Sydney café. The gunman wants to speak with the Australian prime minister, and has said he will release one hostage in exchange for an ISIS flag. One Sydney siege hostage tells viewers that the gunman has three demands, none of which have been met. She begs for help during the brief video. According to the Sydney hostage, the ISIS lone wolf attacker has placed three bombs around the city and names the streets where the explosives have allegedly been placed.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, hostages who are being held captive during the Sydney siege appear to have been forced to hold up a black Islamic flag in the window of the Lindt Café. The gunman, who refers to himself as “the brother,” claims to have bombs inside the Sydney café and positioned with his operatives around the city as well. The Sydney hostage videos were originally published on YouTube, but were quickly removed for violating the website’s terms of service. Food has been delivered to the hostages and the Sydney siege hostage taker reportedly identified as Man Haron Monis.

“The gunman could be seen from here getting extremely agitated, shouting at remaining hostages [after five Sydney siege hostages escaped] from inside Martin Place we can see the faces of hostages – pained, strained, eyes red and raw.Food and water was also being delivered to the prisoners from the cafe’s back kitchens,” journalist Chris Reason tweeted from outside the Lindt Cafe. Reason reportedly has a “direct line of sight into the cafe” from the Seven Network newsroom which sits directly opposite and the Sydney cafe.
