Baby Born At 10:11, 12/13/14 In Perfectly Timed Once-In-A-Century Birth

A baby born at 10:11 on 12/13/14 has the unique distinction of a time and date of birth that won’t be repeated for 100 years.

Little baby Hazel Grace was born at 10:11 on 12/13/14. Her parents, Leisha Campbell and Shawn Zimmerman, welcomed their precious bundle of joy on a time and date that has good luck and fortune written all over it. Maybe that’s why family and friends of the fortunate couple keep advising them to try their hand at playing the lottery, according to WKYC.

“Everyone is telling us we should play the lottery,” Campbell told reporters. “We feel this is a lucky day and are excited to get family photos with Santa.”

Hazel Grace was delivered at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, December 13, 2014. It was 10:11 a.m. Thus the newborn baby was born at 10:11 on 12/13/14. According to Baby Center, there are more than four million babies born in the United States every year. That works out to over 10,958 babies born every single day in the U.S. alone. With 1,440 minutes in a day, it stands to reason that there would be at least one baby, most likely more, born at that exact minute.

The baby with the perfect time and date of birth weighed in at seven pounds and 14 ounces, reported KSL. Her loving parents expected her to arrive on Saturday, but they had no way of knowing that she would enter the world at precisely 10:11 a.m., making headlines in Cleveland and elsewhere. Campbell and Zimmerman already have three daughters, Aubree, Adalynn, and Josalyn. Hazel’s older sisters were able to visit with her on Sunday.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a pair of special babies born earlier this month shared more than a birthday. The beautiful baby boys also shared a single body, a single heart, two arms, and two legs. The rare conjoined twins died only one day after being delivered via C-section to Michael and Robin Hamby of Alabama. The couple learned of their babies’ condition when the expecting mom was eight-weeks pregnant. Doctors gave the couple the option to terminate the pregnancy, but they decided to continue the pregnancy and welcome their twins into the world despite an unfavorable prognosis. Asa and Eli Hamby lived for just 33 hours before passing away.

Do you think Hazel Grace’s birth date is lucky, or is it just another day on the calendar? Comments are welcome.
