Pippa Middleton Thinks Kim Kardashian’s Bum Is Better Than Hers
Pippa Middleton, 31, younger sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, doesn’t think that her bottom is in the same league as that of Kim Kardashian. At least, that’s what she expressed publicly in an article she wrote for The Spectator.
She commented, “The ‘Rear of 2014’ award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month.”
According to a report in the Daily Mail, she was referring to Kim’s attempt to “break the internet” by appearing nude on the front cover of Paper magazine with her not-inconsiderable backside on full display.
Pippa was conscious that she herself had won the same award in 2011, when she wore the memorably tight-fitting bridesmaid’s dress at the wedding of her sister and Prince William.
“I must say that mine — though it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable. But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.”
Now, Kim has responded in a recent interview she gave to E! News. She was praising Pippa Middleton’s backside while at Rihanna’s inaugural Diamond Ball in Beverly Hills.
When asked about her reaction to Pippa Middleton’s praise, she said “She has an amazing booty. She’s beautiful, so that’s cool.”
Pippa’s bottom threatened to overshadow her sister’s wedding ceremony, as the world media focused on it both visually and verbally. It is possibly the first time in history that instant international celebrity status was attained by having a perfectly proportioned posterior.
She earned superstar status simply by walking behind her sister, and was responsible for more headlines at the time than Kim Kardashian has managed, albeit with a considerably smaller asset.
On the other hand, she has yet to match Kim’s full frontal nude pose. Pippa Middleton, full frontal? Now, that REALLY would be a headline.
