‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of December 12
Xûr, Agent of the Nine, has returned to the Tower in Destiny to mark his first appearance since the release of The Dark Below. PlayStation and Xbox owners have been anticipating his return, as his presence is needed for more than just purchasing Exotic armor and weapons. Now he is needed to upgrade those items as well as a quest for Eris Morn.
Xûr can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower this weekend. Simply head straight towards the Vanguard hall after spawning in the tower and look against the wall on the left just before you run into the Quartermaster. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, November 2. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
The Exotic armor and weapons for sale this week are actually a good mix of rarely seen items, except for the Warlock. The Titan class is the first to receive DLC content, while the coveted Truth returns as the weapons of the week.
Unfortunately, we now know why Exotic Shards seemingly took the place of the Exotic Engram last weekend. The Exotic Engram is available this weekend while the Shard is not. That means you’ll have to wait at least another week to upgrade your Exotic armor or weapon if you didn’t purchase any last week. This will be disappointing to some, as which weapons and armor are available to upgrade with Xûr is random.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Truth rocket launcher is a Void-based rocket launcher and one of the best in the game. The community debates whether it or Gjallarjorn is preferred, but it likely comes down to personal preference. This particular weapon has two shots before needing to reload, and each rocket will track a target and explode once in proximity. The blast radius is large, and the velocity is quite good when upgraded.
Ruin Wings is the new DLC Exotic gauntlets for Titans. These will work well with either the Striker or Defender sub-class. The 109 Strength rating will help give Titans plenty of grenades to use along with the Impact Induction perk. Meanwhile, the Special Weapon Loader perk will increase the reload speed of special weapons, and Seeds of Ruin will give more ammo drops.
Achlyophage Symbiote is for Gunslinger Hunters, and gives an extra shot to the Golden Gun with the Last Man Standing perk. Fastball will increase grenade throw distance, and Ashes to Asset will help replenish Super Energy with each grenade kill.
Voidfang Vestments is the only Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a perk for the Voidwalker sub-class. The Improved Axion Bolt perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades. You also respawn with full grenade energy. There is also a Hand Cannon Ammo and Special Weapon Ammo perk to allow you to carry additional ammo for both.
How does Xûr’s collection of exotic goods look to you this weekend? Sound off in the comments below.
