WWE News: Huge Names Added To Final ‘Monday Night Raw’ Of 2014

Throughout the calendar year, there’s a few episodes of Monday Night Raw that always stand out. The obvious one is the Raw after WrestleMania. It is filled with excitement and jubilance that can’t be duplicated. Each year, WWE puts on a great show that never disappoints. For example, last year’s Raw after WrestleMania had Paige debut unexpectedly and win the Divas championship. Not only that, but the Ultimate Warrior appeared and cut one of the best promos in WWE history.

Since the Raw after WrestleMania in New York, the crowd chants have easily become the best part. They can chant anything from “JBL” to “Eddie Guerrero,” and even Michael Cole gets love from the WWE crowd. In Fandango’s case, the Raw after Mania escalated him to new heights with the chant that literally went viral.

Other episodes of Monday Night Raw that always impress are the last Raw of the year and the first of the year. Years ago on the first Raw of 2011, The Miz and John Morrison had an excellent WWE championship match. This year’s final Raw of 2014 will surely not disappoint. WWE just announced that two huge guests will be appearing on the final Raw of the year.

“WWE announced today that Edge and Christian will be appearing on the final RAW of 2014.

“That event takes place on December 29th at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Randy Orton and others are also advertised.”

Edge and Christian will add another dynamic that hasn’t been seen for quite some time. They’ve been away from WWE TV for a long time. Sure, Christian makes sporadic appearances on Smackdown and the pre-show for a pay-per-view, but Raw has missed Captain Charisma. As for Edge, he’ll get the biggest pop of the night. Regardless of his awesome entrance music, the Rated-R Superstar will receive a great ovation from the crowd.

To add on to the festivities, the report also states that Lesnar and Orton will be there. Lesnar is advertised for Raw next week, so that adds another element to keep the ratings up. Lesnar coming back “full-time” brings the viewers in because he is a special attraction. WWE fans often complain that the WWE World Heavyweight champion is never there, but when he does show up, the roof explodes.

A rumor came about that has Christian possibly working with WWE Creative. His intelligence when it comes to the wrestling business is in the top-10. Remember now, he used to be one of the most-entertaining WWE superstars in the company. Along with Edge, the duo is a comedic gold mine. Hopefully, Edge and Christian will come back more often and reek of awesomeness like old-times.
