Angelina Jolie Not Fazed By Scathing Criticism In Sony Leak, All Smiles At Breakfast

Angelina Jolie wasn’t fazed by the latest Sony leak, which revealed a scathing treatment of her character by producer Scott Rudin and Sony head Amy Pascal. Months of e-mails were leaked by a group that are calling themselves “Guardians of Peace.” This is just one in a large series of hacks the film studio has endured over the last few days.

Since the hack, top tiered people at Sony’s salaries were leaked, including a wave of comments made by employees over their dissatisfaction of the studio pushing Adam Sandler films, and top secret film projects.

That said, none of that compared to last night’s drama filled leak published by Gawker detailing e-mails between Hollywood’s top producer Scott Rudin and Sony’s head honcho Amy Pascal. Not only did Rudin drag Angelina, calling her a “spoiled brat,” but also said she was “minimally talented.”

The series of e-mails went on to discuss how she was being difficult with dragging director David Fincher away from the Jobs biopic to instead direct her in Cleopatra. While Pascal was trying her best to take meetings with Angie and appease her, Rudin made clear he didn’t want to be involved with Jolie or deal with her alleged ego.

Everyone suspected this leak would cause a big to-do at the Pitt household, but if there was any indication that a dramatic scene went down, it wasn’t evident by Jolie’s cheery disposition at the Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast.

Jolie was the surprise guest at the luncheon and took to the podium to address the audience.

During the ceremony Jolie presented a scholarship to Loyola Marymount University’s Megan Castillo. Here she is up close and is clearly all smiles.

The ceremony was to honor and celebrate 100 of the most powerful women in the industry. Other attendees include Kate Walsh, Sarah Silverman, and Jenna Dewan Tatum.

During the event, Silverman tweeted, “Had to get up at the crack o my ass but twas worth it. @shondarhimes ‘ speech made me a better man. #Power100.”

So far, Angelina Jolie hasn’t responded to the Sony hack, but Megan Ellison, the head of Annapurna Pictures, went with a perfect response on Twitter to address Rudin’s comments, when he referred to her as a “28-year-old bipolar lunatic.”
