Would You Like Some Porn With That? Customers At A Switzerland McDonald’s Accidentally Shown Porn On Restaurant TVs

Steffen Reiniger and his buddies went to a McDonald’s in Zuchwil, Switzerland, to enjoy some Big Macs and such, but when they sat down to eat, they were also served a heaping helping of porn on the restaurant’s TVs, the New York Post is reporting.

Apparently, the in-restaurant entertainment at Swiss McDonald’s locations is not actually supposed to be hardcore porn, according to the Huffington Post, but rather mundane sporting news, clips, and games via the European channel Eurosport – sort of a European version of ESPN.

However, as McDonald’s spokesperson Aglae Strachwitz explains, sometimes an employee will change the channel to something else, if they ask nicely.

Whether what happened next was intentional or not is unclear, but somehow the in-room entertainment at this particular Swiss McDonald’s location got switched to the German channel Sport 1. Which doesn’t sound like much, until you learn that, for reasons known only to the Germans, Sport 1 has a show called [translated] “Sexy Sports Clips,” which is less about sports and more about sex. In other words, German sports channel Sport 1 shows hardcore porn clips, at least in the evening hours.

Mr. Reiniger, who presumably took the pictures of the McDonald’s hardcore porn to share with the media, took the matter in stride, being a 24-year-old European man and not a parent out at McDonald’s with kids.

“We were only a group of men so it didn’t bother us, although what would have happened if there was a family in the restaurant at that time I don’t know.”

This is not the first time porn has shown up in an unexpected and unwanted place. In September, according to this Inquisitr report, a math textbook had to be pulled from a school because the image on the cover was taken from a porn movie. And in May, also from the Inquisitr, a Kansas City teacher accidentally showed a porn still on a classroom’s overhead projector, thanks to some tomfoolery from two of the students.

McDonald’s spokesperson Aglae Strachwitz apologized for the accidental porn display – sort of – noting that her employees were too busy serving customers and cooking food to police their TV’s for porn.

“If our employees didn’t immediately realize what was going on it’s because they were concentrating on our customers and their work.”

As of this post, it is unclear if any customers besides Mr. Reiniger and his group were present at McDonald’s when the accidental porn broadcast took place.
