Is ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ Heading To Netflix? Cruel Hoax Started By Parody Account

Is The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air coming to Netflix? Thats what some fans thought when NetflixLife tweeted out the show was coming to Netflix’s streaming service. All of a sudden, people became very excited about the possibility of streaming The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

If fans were paying attention, they would realize that NetflixLife is a parody account, and doesn’t have any affiliation with Netflix. Just one look at the NetflixLife Twitter account and its hashtag concerning The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would be put to rest. Right in the bio it states, “Not affiliated with Netflix (Original Netflix Parody Account).”

Even so, the news of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air coming to Netflix really took off, despite the fact that it’s not happening. If you’re really desperate to reminisce about the show, and reruns aren’t an option, you can still rent it on Netflix through their DVD membership, but as a nation that’s quickly turning to streaming and VOD for their main use of entertainment consumption, who has time for that?

The only positive thing to come out of this Fresh Prince hoax are the tweets that followed it. As expected, most fans tweeted at Netflix’s real Twitter account. So far, Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement disputing the news, but our guess is that they’re just waiting for everyone to come to the same conclusion that this was all a horrible hoax. Let’s reminisce to a time when the possibility of streaming The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was hopeful and alive.

As least we’ll be able to stream Friends soon.
