Is Kourtney Kardashian Choosing Not To Marry Scott Disick Because Of His Alcohol Addiction?

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick aren’t married — and Kourtney has said that she doesn’t want to get married — but could Scott’s partying ways have something to do with her decision? According to InTouch Weekly, Kourtney worries that a marriage to Scott would end in divorce, so she is basically just doing the best that she can without a ring on her finger or a marriage certificate. Divorce can certainly complicate things, so Kourtney might feel as though she’s better off this way.

“While Kourtney loves Scott, there will likely never be any marriage because it would only end in divorce. There has always been a lot of concern about Scott’s partying and drinking problem, and Kourtney doesn’t want to go through a very costly divorce,” shared a source.

Coming from a broken home, Kourtney Kardashian has said that she doesn’t believe in marriage. Although she and Scott live together, and have a family together, but getting married hasn’t been something on Kourtney’s mind. There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the couple’s relationship because the two have had a hard time seeing eye to eye on some things. As evidenced on Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons, Scott doesn’t see too much wrong with going to clubs (which he usually gets paid for), getting wasted, and spending the next day in bed recovering. Kourtney, however, thinks that he should be more responsible because of her, and their soon-to-be three children (baby number three is due any day now).

According to 3 News, the reality stars have almost split on several occasions, and Kourtney has given Scott plenty of chances to straighten himself out. Rumors that the two are going to split after the holidays have been circulating as well.

“Scott’s making her unhappy, but she’s asked him to stay until Christmas for the children and then move out. She has a nanny and her family to help her out, but she’s still really scared about having three kids on her own. So she thinks it’s best for Scott to stay in the house until then and it will also give him time to find somewhere new to live,” said a source.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick could also play up the drama for television cameras. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some people wonder just how much of their problems are “made up” for the sake of the show. However, Scott does drink, and he has admitted to having an alcohol addiction, so some parts have to be the real deal.
