Lindsay Lohan’s New ‘Addiction’ Could Net Her Big Bucks

Lindsay Lohan is changing the narrative. The next time you mention one of her addictions, chances are you’ll be talking about her new clothing line, and not one of her trademark, headline making disasters.

According to TMZ, Lohan has “partnered with Civil Clothing to roll out a menswear collection that will be sold exclusively at every 13-year-old skater’s favorite clothing store… PacSun.”

The clothing line title, coined by Civil Clothing, utilizes Lindsay’s sordid past with drugs and alcohol. And while many are tipping their hat at the clever name, there are some, like the New York Post, that feel Lohan’s new clothing line will be a dud, based on Lohan’s previous attempts in the fashion world:

“While LiLo may think her latest tryout in the style game could be a surefire success, history has shown time and time again that the ‘Mean Girls’ actress doesn’t exactly have a stellar track record when it comes to fashion ventures.”

The Post then goes into detail about the 6126 line (named after Marilyn Monroe’s birthday) launched in 2008 by Lohan and Kristi Kaylor.

“Despite its early success, 6126 was scrubbed in 2011, and Lohan found herself in the middle of a $5 million lawsuit from the line’s manufacturer in 2013,” the article recounts.

But E! Online feels Lindsay’s clothing line can have some success and is “intrigued” by some of the designs.

“Several tees and sweatshirts have photos of Lohan herself emblazoned on the front. The ultimate gift for the LiLo enthusiast in your life,” the web site reported.

And at the end of the day, Lohan herself is extremely excited, releasing a message to fans via her website.

“Worked so hard on this,” she wrote. “And happy it [will be] ready in time for the holidays. Only available in the US but don’t worry — doing a special giveaway for my international LILOVERS.”

She also took to Instagram to promote the new Addiction line, posing for pictures herself.

“It’s here, something special with myself and @Civilclothing hitting Pacsun online/in store near you. #civilxlohan #civilregime @civilclothing @pacsun xx got my site in my profile for more info,” the caption reads.

As of late, the Mean Girls star has been living in London, where she has just wrapped the play Speed-the-Plow.
