WWE News: WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt Claims The Wyatt Family Is Not Broken Up

In a new interview with on Chad Dukes Wrestling Show, WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt was asked about a variety of things, from the hologram we saw when he made his return at Hell in a Cell to how he feels The Wyatt Family is not broken up. The interview seemed to reveal a lot about the Wyatt character. To most, it felt like Wyatt was saying some of the things he did as a way to leave the door open to things in the future, despite the idea of the door being closed.

When asked about the hologram we saw at Hell in a Cell, Wyatt claimed it was not what we all thought it was.

“One thing and I want to get this out there so no one’s misconstrued, that was not Abigail. I don’t think anyone has looked closely enough. I think everyone skipped over that part and chocked it up to being some fancy illusion or something. I don’t ever do something just to be doing it. There’s always a point behind everything.”

It feels weird to say that the hologram was not Sister Abigail, as it sure looked like that was what WWE was insinuating. A woman was there dancing, then Bray appeared out of nowhere to attack Dean Ambrose. It just seemed odd to say it was not Abigail. Who the heck was it then? Most would assume this was some sort of ghostly figure WWE was trying to pass off as Abigail. We know she is dead, at least that is the story.

I don’t really think we need to just look harder. Ghostly figure of a woman dancing. Who was it then Bray, Bo Dallas?

Ambrose HIAC

When asked about the Wyatt Family breaking up, Wyatt was quick to say that this was not the case.

“There is no breakup. That’s another thing I’d like to get out there. There’s friction between [Harper & Rowan] and that’s kinda part of the issue, is relinquishing some of that. When the Wyatt Family is needed, the Wyatt Family will always be, and that’s the way I designed it, and that’s the way it will go on for ten, fifteen, who knows how long. The Wyatt Family is far from over, I can assure you of that.”

One thing WWE has not done completely is put us through an Erick Rowan/Luke Harper rivalry. It seemed to be that they were heading in this direction, until they put Rowan with The Big Show and Harper with Dolph Ziggler. WWE appears to have big plans in mind for both Rowan and Harper, however. WWE just applied for the copyright of “Big Red” for Rowan. That is why WWE horrendously put us through the happenstance of the name just coming about through JBL. I guess now we have to call him that now? Great concept of calling him the name of a brand of gum, WWE. Real creativity at play there.

Meanwhile, Harper is the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He has always been great in the ring. Known as Brodie Lee on the Indy scene, Harper has been through a lot to reach the WWE. Many thought when he broke away from the Wyatt Family that he’d be able to show the WWE fanbase how good he really could be. While many feared for Rowan’s ability to relate with fans, Harper seemed to always stand out.

We have to wonder how the Wyatt Family can come together in the future, and for what reason. So that will be interesting.

Regarding his rivalry with Dean Ambrose, Wyatt said that the two could keep going at it for some time.

“This feud with me and Dean, if you look back at the Shield and all that, me and Dean Ambrose years ago would just be killing each other with bull ropes in armories all over Florida in front of ten people. I think it will go on forever. As long as we both can walk and survive after TLC.”

What WWE has done lately was set us up for the possibility of a new Attitude Era feel, but in the PG era. Basically, it means they are loaded with talent, all of whom want to be the best. They all want to fight to be at the top, and will do anything to reach it. They’ll want to work with the best guys and stand out above all others. In a way, they may stomp on the throat of their friends to reach the top. We saw this in the 90s, and it made programming a lot better. Stars were made.

Today, stars are within WWE. They just have to stand out. Wyatt and Ambrose are doing that very well. So the thought that their rivalry could only continue and get more and more intense… it just seems like great television. To many, it seems like the two are just starting to show us what they are capable of. WWE could increase ratings and bring in more fans if they can show they are able to give us compelling TV every week, once again.

Both Wyatt and Ambrose are studs, but there are at least five to seven guys in NXT that can be just as great. Add in people such as Dolph Ziggler, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, etc. and it appears like WWE is set with talent for a long time. Can anyone tell me why the brand split is still not back yet?
