Battlefield 3: Here’s what Back to Karkand’s ‘Wake Island’ map looks like

If you own a PlayStation 3, you’ve probably already seen the Wake Island map introduced in the Back to Karkand map pack, or at least you will be seeing it soon when you’re playing it – the DLC’s out on PlayStation Network today, in case you didn’t catch that.

For the rest of us, we’re left with this new video released by DICE that shows us what Wake Island will look like when the map pack releases on Xbox 360 and PC next week.

Wake Island is regarded as being the best Battlefield map of all time, or at least the most popular one, and it doesn’t look like that has changed much in its Back to Karkand iteration. Despite all the pretty graphics and destructible environments, it still looks like the same old Wake Island – that’s a good thing, in case you were wondering.

Like the last video DICE released, the ‘Wake Island’ trailer also gives us a look at some of the new vehicles and weapons being introduced in the map.
