Scarlett Johansson Shares Secrets About Wigs, Workouts, And Ugly Christmas Sweaters

Scarlett Johansson is an actress, a model, a singer, a new mother, and a newlywed. Now the 30-year-old bombshell is sharing her advice on life after baby, and it includes saying “Yes” to workouts and “No” to wigs. The curvaceous beauty, whose science fiction film Under the Skin featured her completely naked, talked to Style about the past year of her life and why she cut her hair shortly before giving birth.

According to the sexy actress, she opted for a super short and chic haircut earlier this year because she was tired of pulling her longer locks into a ponytail or stuffing it under a wig. Both styles take time, and Johansson wanted to save time. Now that she is mother to a baby girl, whom Johansson and husband Romain Dauriac named Rose, saving time is smart.

Despite being widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, Scarlett Johansson confided to Style that she keeps her beauty routine simple. She doesn’t frequent spas, preferring to spend what limited time she has at the gym instead.

Johansson also enjoys a good party, as long as it isn’t work-related. That’s why she enjoys holiday parties in particular, especially since they give her a reason to dress up in her fanciest clothes and accessorize with jewelry. America’s sweetheart even likes ugly Christmas sweater parties, although she failed to disclose exactly what she would wear to that type of shindig.

When ScarJo sat down to talk with Gala, she had more on her mind than wigs, workouts and ugly Christmas sweaters. She told the interviewer about the joys of motherhood, raving about her sweet baby, Rose. She admitted that being a new mom is exhausting, but it’s the little things that make everything worthwhile, like the scent of her newborn daughter.

Prior to settling down and starting a family with Dauriac, Johansson dated Nate Taylor and Sean Penn. She was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011, separating in 2010, and her rumored romances before marrying Reynolds include dalliances with Patrick Wilson, Justin Timberlake, Benicio Del Toro, and Jude Law, according to Who’s Dated Who.

Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac married quietly and without fanfare on October 1, 2014, and managed to keep their marriage a secret for nearly a full month before anyone noticed that the new mom was wearing what appeared to be a wedding band on her left ring finger. The wedding ceremony was performed by Richard J. Miller, reported the Inquisitr, and it took place in Philipsburg, Montana. The happy couple lives in Paris and Los Angeles.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Scarlett Johansson’s action flick Lucy was particularly well received by fans in Russia. Not only did Lucy exceed expectations for box office receipts in Russia, the movie actually grossed $9.6 million, or 363 million rubles, during its opening weekend, likely earning it a place in the top-ten grossing movies of the year in that country.
