Kim Kardashian Divorce: Kanye West Reportedly Controlling Kim’s Every Move

The divorce drama between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have just gotten a bit messier after one of Kanye’s family members revealed that the rapper is controlling almost every move his wife makes.

Kim and Kanye have faced growing divorce rumors in recent weeks, and now a new interview with Kanye’s stepbrother Hal Carmichael revealed that the two share what appears to be a difficult dynamic. In the interview with heat, Carmichael said that Kanye is dedicated to his family but at the same time very controlling of them.

“Kanye constantly worries about Kim and North because he knows the kidnap is risk is high,” says Hal. “Because of the lifestyle they lead, he has to think about it carefully nowadays. Kanye controls Kim, like where she travels and what she does, to protect her. He thinks the more the public see them, the more at risk they are.”

Hal went on to say that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West want to become the next “power couple,” but that Kanye is having a difficult time with the exposure that comes with that.

The report seems to feed into the rumors that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are nearing divorce. Other recent reports have indicated that the couple’s relationship is falling apart, and sources last week claimed that Kanye even skipped out on Thanksgiving dinner with the Kardashian clan.

The New York Post published details of the Thanksgiving snub (via MediaTakeOut).

“Kanye West skipped a family Thanksgiving with the Kardashians.”

“The rapper — without Kim and baby North — was spotted dining at Ralph Lauren’s restaurant in Paris with two male friends Thursday.”

“Meanwhile, Kim was in LA with the whole Kardashian Klan at Khloé’s house.”

But despite the reports of marital woe, Hal Carmichael insists that Kanye and Kim are happy when they’re away from television cameras.

“Kanye doesn’t smile in public, but he’s smiling with us,” Hal said. “He’s a real joker, he’s really witty and makes Kim laugh all the time. When he looks moody, it’s because he’s thinking, he never stops planning in his head, but behind closed doors he’s always smiling … No matter how big Kanye gets, or how much money he makes, he’s still the same humble guy who sat in college sketching trainers onto his books. Whatever he gets, he always gives back to our family, he’s the most generous, kind guy I know.”

Unfortunately, Carmichael’s comments about Kanye West and his controlling nature over Kim Kardashian may only be fueling the divorce drama.
