Fifth Harmony Covers Mariah Carey’s Classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’
Fifth Harmony is taking the holidays by storm! The all-girl group decided to pick up a Christmas classic and did a cover of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has been a Christmas classic ever since she first released the track back in 1994, and since then, countless artists have since covered the track including Shania Twain, John Mayer, Lady Antebellum, Michael Buble, and now, Fifth Harmony.
According to the Huffington Post, Fifth Harmony kicked off the holiday season when they released their version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” via a new music video. Check it out for yourself below.
There seems to be quite a lot of opinions when it comes to Fifth Harmony’s rendition of the Mariah Carey hit. While Direct Lyrics writer Kevipod commented on the “awful” auto-tune used throughout the song, Hollywood Life commented on how adorable the girls looked while ringing in the holiday season.
“And just how cute are these girls? Camila looked so adorable wearing a green-blue velvet dress with a giant red bow in her hair. Lauren had a gorgeous metallic skirt on and fancy lace gloves, while Dinah had on a red crop top and matching skirt. Normani took polka dots to a whole new level in a short silver and black mini dress, and Ally sparkled in a sequin top and long green sheer skirt,” reported Hollywood Life.
