Alysa Suguro Bathrick: Teen Posts ‘Cute’ Mugshot On Twitter, Becomes Viral Sensation

Alysa Suguro Bathrick apparently knows when a picture catches her good side, even if it does happen to be a mugshot for her drug arrest.

The 18-year-old North Carolina resident was recently nabbed for a narcotics possession, and decided that her mugshot was so flattering that she just had to share it on Twitter.

“Surrendered myself at 7 a.m., got released at 11:30 a.m. F**k what you heard. And my mugshot’s cute,” Bathrick wrote in a caption with her picture.

Apparently many others agreed. Her “cute mugshot” picture quickly went viral, attracting many replies from men who didn’t seem to care much about her run-in with the law.

The newfound popularity for Alysa Suguro Bathrick is quite reminiscent of another attractive mugshot. This summer, a picture of felon Jeremy Meeks shared on the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page went viral, with hundreds of comments declaring Meeks the “hottest criminal ever.”

Granted, Bathrick’s alleged crime seems a bit trivial in comparison to Meeks’ charges. Stockton police picked him up as part of the department’s Operation Ceasefire enforcement mission, and police identified him as part of an “active group” of men believed to be responsible for a series of shootings and robberies in the area.

Meeks — who was arrested along with Terry Bailey, 22, Juzri Coleman, 18, and Joelin Coleman, 44 — had an arrest sheet that included “illegally possessing firearms and ammo, carrying a loaded firearm in public, and criminal street gang activity.” Meeks was being held on $900,000 bail.

Meeks used his fame as a platform, denying the charges that he was drug kingpin. Bathrick has also used her Twitter page to explain a bit about her arrest.

But Alysa Suguro Bathrick also seems to be enjoying the fame of her “cute mugshot,’ with dozens of comments from admirers declaring their love for her.
