Reba McEntire Teaming Up With A Reunited Brooks And Dunn In Vegas

Country music will heat up the Vegas Strip next summer.

Rolling Stone is reporting that Reba McEntire and Brooks and Dunn will combine forces for at least twelve shows at Caesar’s Palace Colosseum starting in June of 2015. Dates will be available for June, July and December of next year, with more dates coming. Ticket prices will start at $59.5o and go to $205 for the Caesar’s Palace run.

Reba has a history with Brooks and Dunn. The country duo opened for Reba back in 1992. The two country entities got back together in 1997, and for the next two years, had the most sold-out shows in a row. Reba has sang on two Brooks and Dunn songs, If you see him (if you see her) and Cowgirls Don’t Cry in 2009.

As far as Brooks and Dunn themselves, it seems that the bad blood between the two has somewhat subsided. It’s also been rumored that Reba convinced the duo to reunite for these shows, perhaps more. Still, both Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn look to continue the success they had for 20 years as one of the most popular duos in country music. It appears that Reba helped broker a truce between the two so they would perform together again.

It does look, however, that any new music from the pair isn’t going to happen. Dunn has recently signed with Nash Icon to record albums. Brooks continues to host the very popular American Country Countdown radio show. Both artists also enjoy recording solo albums, so it may be a while to hear any new music from the duo.

Taste of Country is reporting that there was some any between Brooks and Dunn, even reporting that as early as a year ago, the duo took to social media to debate the reason for the breakup. Neither had announced the desire to reunite the duo, much less work things out. Leave it to Reba to make a few phone calls and drum up a dream double billing for Vegas.

Regarding the opportunity. Dunn posted to his Facebook page, “Talking to Kix. He’s talking back.”

The venue served as home for Celine Dion, until she decided to spend more time at with her family. Tickets go on sale at the

The first three fall between June 24-27, 2015. Additional shows are scheduled for the weeks of July 1, December 2 and December 9.

Tickets for select performances go on sale on Thursday (Dec. 4) through the Colosseum’s website or by calling 866-320-9763. There are additional fees and taxes per ticket, so call Caeser’s Palace to further information
