‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Won’t Film Before Prison, Enlists ‘Chubby’ Nanny To Help Joe
RHONJ star Teresa Giudice will not be filming scenes for the upcoming seventh season of the show before she enters prison. Although there have been reports, claiming Teresa and the rest of the cast will film season seven before her prison term begins on January 5, a new report claims that is not the case.
“Teresa will not be filming [RHONJ] before she leaves for prison,” E! News reported on December 3. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey wrapped season six in November and filmed a reunion just days after Teresa and Joe were sentenced. During the taping, Teresa hinted that the season-six reunion could very well be her last, although nothing has been decided.”
“Will the show go on without Teresa? That’s still up in the air. Postponing season seven is just one possibility, and that the powers that be are considering all options regarding the future of series and whether Teresa is a part of it or not.”
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, a show insider claimed there have been talks to postpone RHONJ until 2016.
“They’re exploring shelving the season until 2016, when Teresa gets out of prison,” a source told Radar Online. “By having her fresh out of prison, there would be a clear storyline. It would also pull on fans’ heartstrings to see the changed Teresa back in the limelight.”
Last month, RHONJ executive producer Andy Cohen participated in a Reddit AMA, where he addressed the future of the show. “We have not made any plans relating to the future of the Jersey Housewives,” he said on Tuesday, November 11. “The final reunion is airing tonight, and we’ll go back and meet and talk and re-evaluate soon.”
As for Teresa and her marriage to Joe, there have been rumors swirling, claiming Joe’s been unfaithful. While those reports have yet to be confirmed, a new report claimed Teresa is doing what she can to avoid Joe cheating while she’s behind bars.
“For a few weeks, Teresa was phoning agencies looking for a ‘chubby’ nanny,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly, according to a December 3 report by Radar Online. “She wants someone who doesn’t pose a threat.” She may even hire a male nanny, according to the source. “She started contacting agencies, asking for a gay ‘manny,’ but she was told asking a person’s sexuality isn’t appropriate.”
According to the Inquisitr, Giudice recently attempted to postpone her sentence.
RHONJ season six included Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Nicole Napolitano, Amber Marchese and Teresa Aprea.
