Bigfoot In England? Sasquatch Spotted Across The Pond

Sightings of Bigfoot have been reported — or at least laid claim to — all around the world. But one country has has been showing a recent influx of the sightings, leading some locals to believe that Bigfoot or Bigfoot-like creatures are in England.

One British man, Adam Bird, 31, says that he has proof that these claims are real. To support the veracity of his statements, Bird points to photos where he says Bigfoot lurks in the background of the woods near Lincolnshire. Adam revealed the whole story of his encounter with Bigfoot to The Mirror.

“My investigators and I were tipped off that this small patch of woodland in Friskney could be a hotspot for Bigfoot beasts. There is at least one reported sighting here, so we decided to check it out. We stayed there for a few hours that day and felt watched and followed the whole time. I took various photographs throughout the investigation and when I checked back through them I spotted the creepy picture.”

Bird has been obsessed with hunting Bigfoot since a trip to Florida when he was 15-years-old. It was there he said he spotted Bigfoot, or a Bigfoot-like creature, for the first time. Since then, he has hoped to see Bigfoot appear in his native home of England. Even though he has yet to confirm it, this could be the best existing proof of a British Sasquatch, he told The Mirror.

“It looks like a shadowy figure stood within the trees staring at us from afar. It shows something dark, a different colour against all that greenery… I make no bold claims but my fellow investigators think this could be genuine evidence that the British Bigfoot exists.”

Proof that Bigfoot prowls England would be a great boon for Bird. He’s spent the last few years putting together a case that Sasquatch roams the northern European country. This newest proof, he says, could lay his case to rest.

“My main reason for thinking there is something in the UK is the sheer number of sightings. People have been reporting hairy, upright figures since around the 1870s… One misconception is that the UK doesn’t have sightings – but there are many. These creatures are seen all over the UK, and the phenomenon spreads from Scotland right down to southern England… These people are clearly seeing something and that something cannot be passed off as simply hoaxes or known animals. This is something unknown.”
