Jessica Simpson has abandoned pop for country, and being skinny for a new look that involves a markedly increased waistline.
Shots of Simpson in concert performing songs from her latest country album Do You Know shows Simpson with a high waist pair of jeans, and a larger overall appearance.
Some sites are coming out and calling Jessica Simpson fat, while others say its simply a more natural look. Some are even suggesting she might be pregnant. The shots aren’t helped by her outfit, which deserves widespread ridicule, but is Jessica Simpson really fat, or just healthy?

She is a short gir maybe 5'2″ at the most and she definitely looks fat…at this rate she will be 200 pounds by age 30…So even if she is only 130 140 right now it's too much for her height and even if she is not really fat she looks it…its disgusting,,,she still has a pretty face but she looks like your neighbor homely pretty faced girl…bleah

The girl is hardly morbidly obese, so I would not call her unhealthy. However, she has gained weight obviously, and more than that, she seems tired..more aged, somehow.
She could be suffering from busy syndrome, and not getting enough sleep or something.
I think she looks fine, but sure, she's gained.
