Oracle Finally Gets Web 2.0

It’s better late than never apparently for Oracle. The company said that it would be forming a Web 2.0 platform for building wikis, blogs, and content management.

The platform, called Oracle WebCenter, is an integrated suite of products designed for creating dynamic, highly productive user work environments and enable business users to bring complete context to their daily work tasks.

The announcement was made by Charles Phillips, Oracle’s president, while speaking in London.
