Herman Cain Ends Presidential Campaign, Begins ‘Plan B’

Hundreds of Herman Cain supporters gathered in front of his new headquarters in Atlanta to find out if the Cain train would keep on rolling despite the sexual assault allegations that are being brought against the GOP candidate. But Herman Cain hopefuls were disappointed as the Cain train was officially derailed this afternoon.

Herman Cain, standing with his wife Gloria, announced to the crowd that he was suspending his presidential campaign. Herman said:

“As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign… I am suspending my presidential campaign because of the continued distraction, the continued hurt caused on me and my family. Not because we are not fighters… I am disappointed that it came to this point that we had to make this decision.”

Cain assured the crowd that he wasn’t walking away from politics. The former GOP candidate said that he was launching “Plan B,” a new policy oriented website that will help him change the system from outside the White House.

Cain said:

“Before you get discouraged, today I want to describe Plan B…. I am not going away. I will continue to be a voice for the people.”

TheCainSolutions.com, which has the tagline “Not Politicians. Not Media Outlets. The People.” is currently just a holding page for when the site goes live.

Cain also announced that he will soon be endorsing one of the remaining Republican candidates.

Do you think Herman Cain made the right move by dropping out of the presidential race?
