Brooke Mueller Arrested for Assault, Cocaine Possession

Brooke Mueller, the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, was arrested overnight in Colorado on charges of cocaine possession and assault, according to a statement by Aspen police spokesperson Blair Weyer.

Weyer added that the arrest took place at the Escobar nightclub in Aspen, after a woman reported being assault by Mueller.

“Mueller was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree (class one misdemeanor) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (class four felony),” Weyer’s statement continued. “Mueller posted bond of $11,000 and was released with a District Court date of December 19, 2011.”

While the assault charge is a less serious misdemeanor case, the drugs charges could see the 34-year-old reality star could face up to six years in jail if found guilty.

As the NY Daily points out, this latest incident isn’t the first time Mueller’s run into trouble in Aspen.

On Christmas Day 2009, she called police to report that Sheen was threatening her.

“My husband had me with a knife. I was scared for my life and he threatened me,” she told the dispatcher at the time.

Sheen was arrested and eventually sentenced to rehab and probation for the incident as well as 36 hours of domestic violence treatment counseling.

Mueller and Sheen, who originally married in May 2008 and have two sons together, divorced the following year.
