David Beckham Involved In Car Accident, Unable To Drive Car Away

David Beckham was involved in an automobile accident on Saturday after picking up his teenage son, Brooklyn, from the training ground for Arsenal.

The 39-year-old retired athlete had spent the morning watching his 15-year-old son play against Brighton during the under-16 side.

Daily Mail confirmed that Brooklyn and David Beckham were both able to walk away from the scene of the automobile accident without any injuries. Neither of them were even transported to the hospital by ambulance.

According to reports, David Beckham was driving his Audi RS6. The driver’s side of the vehicle was damaged and the airbags deployed.

After the automobile accident, David Beckham was not able to drive away from the scene in that car. However, the former England captain was eventually taken away by a different car. Arsenal staff members were reportedly able to keep onlookers away from the scene as well.

Even though neither of them was injured, both Brooklyn and David Beckham were “shaken following the accident.”

Brooklyn Beckham signed an academy contract with the Arsenal Football Club earlier this year even though his father’s former club, Manchester United, was apparently interested in him as well.

In an interview with the Daily Star, an Arsenal source was able to speak openly about Brooklyn’s talent and performance on the field overall.

“Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played. He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club. Arsenal realize he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset… Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal.”

One of the players that were on the field with Brooklyn, Thomas Cadman, opened up about the surreal experience of his day with the Beckhams in general through his Twitter account.

“Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car.”

This was not the first time David Beckham was involved in an automobile accident in recent years. In October of 2013, David collided with another car as he pulled out of his Beverly Hills driveway.

At the time, David Beckham was also reportedly riding along with Brooklyn as well who was seated as the front passenger in a black Range Rover Sport on October 25.
