Angelina Jolie Warned: Angelina Warned About Brad Pitt, ‘Movie Curse’ Ruining Couple’s Marriage?

Angelina Jolie was warned about working with Brad Pitt in By the Sea because sometimes doing a movie about a “bad marriage” can affect your actual marriage. According to the Mail Online, Jolie recently opened up about the couple’s choice to do the film together, and she says that their friends were a bit concerned about it.

“We haven’t acted together for ten years. We decided we would do it again and we did a very small drama about family, about marriage in fact. We did a drama about a bad marriage. A lot of friends of ours thought is was a really… they didn’t say a bad idea… but they asked us a few times if we were sure we wanted to do it,” Jolie said.

Although Angelina Jolie was warned, she seemed to have enough faith in her relationship with Brad Pitt to do the film. The two tied the knot in August after being together for 10 years. They know each other better than anyone else does, so their decision to do By the Sea was likely thought about, talking about, and decided upon by both parties.

“It [was] uncomfortable but we’ve already shot it, we’ve survived it and we’re stronger for it. It was very tough material, so for any actors it was heavy dramatic emotional work. We are dear friends who love each other and support each other,” Jolie concluded.

This interview came after break-up rumors swirled online.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple got into an apparent fight that was caught by the paparazzi earlier this week in Australia. The fight ended with Brad storming off, and a tense premiere appearance later that same night. Sources say that the two left the Unbroken premiere in separate private jets, which signified more problems… but judging by the way Jolie is talking, everything is just fine between her and her husband.

Angelina Jolie wasn’t warned about Brad Pitt when the two filmed Mr. & Mrs. Smith(2005), but she did not have any idea that she would fall in love with the then-married actor. Pitt had an affair with Jolie, and got a divorce from Jennifer Aniston soon after. By the Sea is the second film the power couple has worked on together. According to the Times of India, this is the first time that Jolie has directed Pitt. The film will hit theaters in 2015.
