Eliza Coupe Announces Engagement To Darin Olien Via Instagram
Eliza Coupe has something extra special to be thankful for this holiday season. Coupe took to Instagram on Thursday morning to announce that she was officially engaged to Darin Olien. In the announcement, Eliza posted a picture of herself smiling widely while holding Olien. The hand holding her soon-to-be husband show’s Eliza’s is adorned with a very obvious engagement ring. Coupe captioned the photo with “Giving Thanks.”

It has been a good fall for Eliza Coupe, as the actress returned to television on the sitcom Benched. Now she also gets to wed Olien, who has made his living founding the lifestyle brand SuperLife.
According to People, “I used every bit of my personal life,” Coupe said about her new show. Benched kicks off with Eliza’s character suffering from a mental breakdown.
“I really did just pour it all into that. And I’m on great terms with my ex-husband, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a divorce.” The actress added.
Eliza Coupe was talking about her first marriage, to Randall Whittinghill. The couple divorced shortly after Coupe’s last series, Happy Endings, was officially canceled. Eliza, who is well known as a comedic actress who also took a turn on Scrubs, also managed to make a bit of light of the good news.
E! Online reports that before she posted the beautiful black and white Instagram, she posted another one where she said, “I am thankful to have found someone with bigger hands than my mammoth man mitts. It’s a rare thing. I love you @darin_olien #thanksgiving.”
Olien and his new bride-to-be are actually both having a pretty good time in their professional lives. Olien recently launched his brand new website SuperLife.com, and posted a YouTube video about the launch of his company on the same day he proposed to Eliza. Coupe and Olien both reside in Malibu, California, and appear to have spent the holiday taking in the sun in addition to great Thanksgiving Day food.
Before singing off for the day and enjoying time with her new fiancé, the actress posted one more color photo on Instagram. The caption of this particular photo simply said “family fun time.” For those who want to see more of the actress, they can turn into USA Network on Tuesday nights. Eliza Coupe stars in this new comedy that debuted on October 28.
