‘Teen Mom 2’ Stars Leah And Jeremy Calvert Are Still Working On Their Marriage
Teen Mom 2 stars Leah and Jeremy Calvert are reportedly still working on their marriage. Despite reports claiming Jeremy filed for divorce on Tuesday, a new source claims they are very much together and hoping to mend their marriage.
According to a Rumorfix source, Leah and Jeremy “are working on things and have not gave up.”
On Tuesday, In Touch Weekly alleged Jeremy had filed for divorce.
“They’ve been having problems for a while now, and Leah cheating in October was the final straw,” a friend told the magazine of the reality star, who was rumored to have cheated on Jeremy with Robbie Kidd. “She always thought she’d be able to win him back. The fact that she can’t has made her a total mess. She’s hit rock bottom.”
“Leah wronged Jeremy and now she’s begging for his forgiveness, but he’s totally done with her.”
Leah’s alleged infidelity was first reported on October 17, when the Teen Mom 2 star’s husband told his Twitter fans he caught her with Robbie Kidd and planned to file for divorce. Hours later, Jeremy deleted the tweets, and Leah denied having cheated.
In the weeks that followed, as reported by the Inquisitr, Robbie spoke to multiple media outlets, denying the alleged affair.
“I have no idea where the deer cam s**t came from,” Robbie told Blog Talk Radio earlier this month, according to a report by Wetpaint Entertainment. “I guess Jeremy’s dad said something about seeing me on his deer cam going into Leah’s house, but I’ve never been to Leah’s house.”
He did, however, cause Leah to cheat at least once before, as Leah admitted on Teen Mom 2. During an episode of the MTV reality show, Leah came clean to her husband at the time, Corey Simms, revealing she and Robbie slept together hours before they had gotten married.
While Robbie has yet to confront Jeremy about his claims, he did meet up with Corey after he found out about his and Leah’s hookup.
“One time we met up in a parking lot and spoke,” Robbie revealed. “He asked me about it and I told him plain what had happened… I guess she had drank a bunch, and I had been partying myself, and we had been talking and it just happened.”
Although he hasn’t spoke to Jeremy, Robbie said he did find out that Jeremy had banned Leah from contacting her own brother, who allowed Robbie to live with him part-time.
“Jeremy doesn’t want [Leah] in contact with anybody that’s associated with me,” Robbie explained, noting one of those people as Isaac Messer, Leah’s younger brother.
Leah and Jeremy haven’t yet confirmed the status of their relationship, but Leah’s recent exit from the show appears to be a sign that she’s trying to work things out. As the Inquisitr reported yesterday, Leah believes Teen Mom 2 has negatively impacted her marriage.
“Things are still rocky for them,” a friend of Leah told Radar Online on Tuesday. “Leah is doing everything she can to keep her family together, including leaving [‘Teen Mom 2’]. All the attention from the show played a hand in one failed marriage, and she’s not going to let that happen again.”
