Ellen DeGeneres Stars In Hilarious New ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie Trailer [Video]

After putting her special touch on other blockbuster movies such as Twilight, Ellen DeGeneres has replaced Dakota Johnson in the role of a lifetime as Anastasia in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Or so she says.

“Over the years, I’ve shown a lot of scenes from different movies that I’ve been cut out of,” DeGeneres said before showing the clip on her show. “What happens is I get cast and show up and I work like a professional. I learn my lines and I really prepare the scenes, and for some stupid reason, the part gets cut—until now. The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is coming out next year and I am so happy and proud to say I got the lead role, and I am definitely going to be the lead in the movie.”

“They’re acting like it’s Dakota Johnson. It’s not. It’s me. Because no one know knows their way around a whip more than me,” Ellen said.

DeGeneres says that Fifty Shades features some of her “best work,” and after her stunning performance of Hall & Oates’ “Maneater,” who can argue that? Her reaction to Christian’s red room of pain is also priceless – possibly one of the greatest moments in cinematic history.

According to Today, Ellen’s love of Fifty Shades of Grey goes back quite awhile. She did a dramatic reading of the book the movie is based on for her fans in 2012.

And as if Ellen as Anastasia wasn’t enough, she also offered bonus entertainment on her Ellentube website – Ellen’s Fifty Shades of Grey bloopers.

As usual with DeGeneres’ spoofs, such as her take on Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” music video reported by the Inquisitr a few months ago, the hilarious video is going viral. Leave it to Ellen to make sexy silly.
