Roseanne Barr Tweets Pic Of Bloody Face: ‘Got In Tussle With Bill Cosby’

Comedian Roseanne Barr definitely knows how to cross the thin line between controversy and comedy.

In the past, the 62-year-old actress has been able to cross that line plenty of times with her stand-up comedy, reality shows, and the popular 90s sitcom named after her.

However, this time around, Roseanne was able to accomplish that goal with a late-night Twitter post and picture.

At 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Roseanne posted a picture of herself with a bloody and swollen face.

In a tweet posted before the picture, Roseanne crossed the line separating comedy from controversy with how she mentioned Bill Cosby.

“Got in a tussle w Bill Cosby. U shoyld [sic] see that mfer.”

It did not take long before Roseanne Barr deleted her original tweets and wanted to clear the air by setting the record straight. The former TV mother truthfully did not get into a “tussle” with Bill Cosby.

The real story behind her appearance involved a chemical peel that the actress decided to get in order to look sexier.

This is definitely not the first time that Roseanne Barr found a way to make a joke about the recent allegations made against Bill Cosby.

The New York Daily News reported on Friday about an interview in which Roseanne Barr jokingly commented about not wanting to become targeted by Bill Cosby either with a lawsuit or having someone to beat her up on his behalf.

All jokes aside, Roseanne Barr used the same interview to actually speak up for Bill Cosby. Roseanne discussed the positive experiences that she had with him back in the 1990s, when she was trying to make her own sitcom successful.

“Years ago, he called me up when I having trouble on my show. Sometimes he advised me well, and other times I didn’t agree with him. But he did reach out to me at the time, and I thought that was cool.”

All of the allegations that have been made against Bill Cosby over the years actually remind Roseanne of a popular episode of her 1990s sitcom in which she wrote a letter to her character’s abusive father to place inside of his casket. In the letter, Roseanne Barr writes, “You did a lot of bad things, you did some good things, but most of all, thanks for your humor.”
