Lisa Rinna Compares ‘RHOBH’ To ‘Melrose Place,’ Discusses A Possible Season Six Return

Lisa Rinna recently wrapped filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and according to her, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, when it comes to a possible season six, the soap star isn’t quite sure.

“It’s Melrose Place without the script!” Rinna told Hollywood Life in a November 24 interview, revealing she went into the series with a very strategic game plan.

“I am going to be very authentic, be myself and stay grounded. Don’t react to anything, but be the better person and be supportive and empower the women, but that might fly out the window because we are women and we are determined. What I will tell you is that you will see that I am fiercely protective of my family!”

While Lisa Rinna may not have gone looking for drama, drama is inevitable on reality TV, and eventually, it found her, which the Inquisitr reported weeks ago. “I went into this not disliking anyone on the show,” Rinna explained. “It will be interesting for people to see how that my change or evolve.”

When asked if she’d return to the show, Rinna said, “Who knows! They have to ask me back. If it is meant to be then it is meant to be.”

“I had a really good time, I really did. It was a great job. It was nice to be involved with something that I could be around my children, to be here in LA and my husband [Harry Hamlin] who is working all over the place, it affords him to do that and we can balance things, so it worked out!”

As the Inquisitr reported earlier this month, Lisa Rinna was recently accused of causing drama on set in an effort to be invited back to the show.

“It’s all a carefully crafted plan Lisa has devised,” a source explained to Radar Online. “Almost all of her scenes on RHOBH, Lisa is absolutely acting! She has been boasting to close friends that she wants to be the controversial newcomer, in the hopes of being asked back for another season.”

“[Lisa Rina]’s acting career has come to a standstill, and needs buzz to gain other jobs. The plan might backfire though, because this isn’t a true representation of who Lisa really is. Who would want to work with someone that threatens physical violence, as Lisa did with Kim Richards. It’s a risky gamble, but Lisa didn’t seem to care.”
