Aaron Rodgers Trolls Vikings With Perfect Post-Game Drink

Aaron Rodgers is one of those quarterbacks who likes to take things easy and continue to have fun while playing one of the roughest sports in the world. Sometimes he will do it in subtle ways, but there are often times he will do it in the most obvious way possible.

On Sunday, Rodgers and the Packers escaped the Minnesota Vikings with a 24-21 victory that put them in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. In the post-game news conference, Rodgers had a celebratory drink that totally trolled the Vikes.

CBS 58 pointed out that while answering questions, Rodgers would casually sip from his bottle of Grape Crush soda. Perhaps it was an unintentional choice of drink, but the chances are really strong that it wasn’t.

The Green Bay Packers did win the game, but it wasn’t a very convincing victory by any stretch of the imagination.

Rodgers threw for just 209 yards and two touchdowns, but he didn’t throw any interceptions either. He continues to dominate in the lack of turnovers compared to his touchdown passes. Through 12 weeks of the season, he has 30 touchdown passes as opposed to just only three interceptions.

Luckily, running back Eddie Lacy picked up the offensive slack for the Packers, and had 125 yards on the ground and one touchdown. He picked up another score on a pass from Rodgers.

According to the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, the Philadelphia Eagles were not thrilled with Rodgers’ action in a post-game interview last week.

The Packers destroyed the Eagles 53-20, and Philly linebacker Brandon Graham was not pleased with Rodgers and said the quarterback was literally laughing at their defense.

“Hell, yeah. That (expletive) pissed me off,” Graham said, per CSN Philly. “I wanted to get him. But at the end of the day, shoot, he was doing his job. More power to him. I guess we would be laughing if we were sacking him.”

While the decimation of the Eagles was impressive, and Rodgers had a much better game than he did this week, the victory over the Vikings did open up things for the Packers. Now, Green Bay is leading the division and has the upper-hand en route to the playoffs.

The Eagles are already hoping to see Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs for a rematch, some retribution, and some open shots for his laughter.

As for the Vikings? They’re still alive in the race for the playoffs, but they have a lot of work to do, and shouldn’t let Aaron Rodgers’ choice of beverage get to them.
