Las Vegas Hotels For Thanksgiving And Christmas 2014: How To Find The Best Deals

Not everyone loves staying at home for the holidays. Certain people like to travel far and wide, with Las Vegas being a great destination for those who don’t like to cook, reports USA Today, in their list of the best places to feast in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. That takes care of the conundrum of where to eat whilst you’re in Las Vegas, but what about where you’ll stay? And how can you find some of the best hotel rates to give you more bang for your buck in Las Vegas?

Using a hotel rate search-finder like ProntoHotel, you can enter a specific destination such as Las Vegas into their search box, and next enter your intended dates of stay, such as a Thanksgiving vacation that lasts from November 26 to November 30.

Doing so turned up reasonable rates for popular Las Vegas hotels right on the “Strip” – also known as Las Vegas Boulevard – like the Luxor Hotel and Casino for $77 per night. The landmark Stratosphere Tower Casino and Resort Hotel – also on Las Vegas Boulevard – clocks in at $77 per night as well.

Even pricier are options like The Signature Hotel at MGM Grand, which will run you around $115 per night, or the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino – a hotel whose rates are listed at approximately $106 per night for those Thanksgiving-centered dates.

Performing the same search for the city of Las Vegas but changing the dates to those around the Christmastime season that you’d like to visit the gambling locale will give you further ideas about how much hotels like the Paris Las Vegas Hotel or Caesars Palace Las Vegas are charging for their special holiday rates.

With the Las Vegas Review-Journal reporting that nearly 47 million people are expected to hit the road for Thanksgiving, it’s a good idea to get those hotel reservations booked, guaranteed, and locked in as early as possible for these traveling times.

Who knows? You might run into one of the Kardashian girls or Scott Disick in Las Vegas, about whom the Inquisitr reports enjoyed an appearance recently. In the meantime, forget that old adage about “whatever happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas,” and skip right past those tables in the casinos that allow folks to mortgage their homes to raise cash. After all, you still want a home to return to when the holidays are over and done.
