One Woman: 18,100 Amazon Reviews in 10 Years

amazon2

How many books can one person read? If you’re librarian Harriet Klausner the answer is 18,109 (at the time of writing) from November 21, 1999 to today, because that’s how many Amazon reviews she has written!

Klausner claims in her profile she is an acquisitions librarian in Pennsylvania and is a freelance reviewer who can speed read and reads two books a day.

She must however be under-estimating her talents, because a calculation of the days between her first entry and today is 3360 days, or 5.4 books a day.

In that time she’s managed to gain 72,071 “helpful votes,” although only 69% of people found her reviews helpful. She tops the list of Amazon “classic” reviewers and comes in at 479 on the new reviewer chart (new as in new books, as opposed to new to reviews).

At the time of writing, her reviews go for 1811 pages on Amazon. You can start from the top on Amazon here
