Did Harry Styles Really Send Taylor Swift 1,989 Roses? [Video]

The Inquisitr reported recently on the rumors flying that Harry Styles and his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, maybe be getting back together, and that Styles sent her 1,989 roses to commemorate the success of her new album, 1989.

But are the rumors true? Ellen DeGeneres had to know, especially about the roses, so when Styles and his One Direction band mates visited her daytime talk show Friday, she popped the question that everyone wants to know the answer to.

“So Harry, I need to find this out because this is a rumor. I don’t know if you’re going to answer me or not because you have so many rumors,” Ellen told 21-year-old Styles.

“I’ll answer,” he said.

“Here’s the latest rumor, that you gave Taylor Swift 1,989 roses because of her 1989 album doing well. Do you know anything about that rumor?” DeGeneres asked.

Harry blushed a little when she asked him, but answered her honestly.

“I don’t,” Styles said. “No, no. I know about the rumor. I don’t know anything about the roses. I think it might have been someone else and I may have falsely…apparently, I get credit for it.”

“You get credit for being romantic like that,” Ellen said.

New Weekly Magazine reported that an “insider” had said Styles has been texting Taylor, wanting to get back together, and reportedly Swift has commented on how much Harry has “matured” since their break-up nearly two years ago.

However, none of the rumors have been confirmed, including one reported by Entertainment Tonight that the two had been seen together at a 1975 concert last week.
