Even Fashionista Lauren Conrad Recycles Her Holiday Dresses

Lauren Conrad may be an up and coming fashion designer but that hasn’t stopped her from wearing the same dress to various holiday parties.

Speaking to FabSugar Conrad reveals that cocktail dress recycling is a specialty of hers since she attends many holiday parties.

Condrad says of wearing dresses more than one time:

“During holiday parties I end up recycling a lot of my cocktail dresses, and just wearing a layering piece, like a blazer and tights, with it.”

One advantage Conrad has over the rest of us? She designs the Paper Crown dresses, skirts and tops that she wears during the holiday which means finding the right layers is just a concept away.

“When I was designing, I was really keeping in mind the types of things you do during these months,” she explains. “You’re going to a lot of holiday parties, and you want to look festive and still put together. So we had a lot of fun with that.”

To complement her recycled look Lauren Conrad says adding a nice bow or fun prints to a plain piece can make all the difference.
